Although Skygusty kids probably went to high school at Gary (Welch High's arch rival until the two schools were consolidated).

Two generations of my family (dad and both of his parents) were born in the area close to Welch. One great grandfather moved there around 1910 with the railroad. The other moved about the same time when he switched from lead mining (which must have really sucked) to coal.
